Hey all,

Thanks for the well wishes! 

But just a note on the replies -- they have been going to everyone else on the list, too.  I am not sure everyone else on the list needs, or wants, to get all these replies, so I've been fiddling with the list settings --

Now the default setting for replies to mail you get from the list (starting with this one) is that they will go to my shore-based e-mail address (greyhawk at thorpeallen.net). 

If you want to send something to everyone on the list you will need to manually enter the list address (greyhawkupdates at thorpeallen.net). 

If you want to reply directly to the sender of a message you got from the list, you will have to manually enter (e.g. copy and paste or whatever...) their address -- unless it was from me.

At least I think this is the way it will work.

These changes do not effect any messages you have already received from the list, so please reply with care!

I'll be heading down to Newport on Wednesday -- there's a send-off party at Newport Yacht Club that evening. The skipper's meeting is Thursday afternoon, and the race starts around 11 on Friday!!!!!
